Elevate Your Bathroom with a Bathtub Tile Surround
Dreaming of a truly luxurious bathroom reno? Nothing turns a regular bathtub into a stunning focal point quite like the addition of a bathroom tile tub surround.
What Is a Tub Surround?
At a minimum, a “tub surround” refers to a protective covering—such as a single piece of vinyl, or water-resistant tile—on any walls adjacent to the sides of a bathtub. You can extend the tiled area if you so choose, either by covering additional wall space, or making it so that your tub tile surrounds the exterior of the bathtub itself.

Selecting the Right Bathroom Tub Tile for You
First and foremost, you want to select a tile that will protect walls from water damage from splashes and humidity. Beyond that, though, tiling the walls around your tub offers the same design freedom as selecting wall tile for any other area in your home. Because wall tiles don’t have to meet the same safety criteria as floor tiles, adding a tub surround can be a great way to create visual interest by incorporating textures, relief patterns and other decorative surface elements into your bathroom design.
A subway tile tub surround is probably the most classic choice, but remember that you can arrange individual tiles in any pattern you like. This is a great time to experiment with unique layouts like herringbone, basketweave or aligned vertical rows. But our selection doesn’t end at subway tile. Talk to one of our knowledgeable sales associates about other great options, like a ceramic tile tub surround, or mosaic tile accent walls and recessed shower niches.
